Welcome Message from the President

The Heart Failure Seoul 2022 (HF Seoul 2022) will be held for three days from Thursday, September 15th to Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in the central area, Gangam-gu, Seoul. We are excited to bring you the HF Seoul 2022 Scientific Meeting including the best heart failure science, research, practical management and connection opportunities.

During this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, we have struggled to adapt to these significant changes and learned how academic societies are managed. We prepare to hold HF Seoul 2022 in the fall of 2022 as a face-to-face meeting with the hope of being able to meet in person for the first time in the past three years.

The prevalence of heart failure will increase explosively all over the world as the population is getting older, with the enormous economic burden. Currently, the prevalence of heart failure patients in Korea is 2.24%. The Korean Society of Heart Failure (KSHF) has achieved not only academic advancement, but also the development of standard clinical guidelines for patient treatment, training of medical staff, and a campaign to raise awareness of heart failure in the public. The KSHF is raising its status as a global society by maintaining active networking with many heart failure societies around the world as well as domestic academic activities in research and academic fields.
